Collagen is a protein that exists in a variety of forms, and these are divided into three main classes called types I, II and III. The Nordwise® SÄRA product contains particularly high-quality type I hydrolyzed bovine collagen peptides. Type I collagen is the most common type of collagen in the human body and accounts for approximately 90% of all collagen. Type I collagen provides structural strength to skin, bones, tendons, connective tissue and teeth.
