A Christmas tale

Once upon a time there lived in a forest a little elf named Pärtel, who loved yogurt very much. He ate it every day for breakfast, lunch and dinner. He didn't know that tiny lactic acid bacteria live in yogurt and make milk sour and thick.

One day, Pärtel decided to make himself a big yogurt bowl and add berries and honey to it. He went into the forest and picked the most beautiful and sweetest berries he could find. He brought them home and put them in yogurt. Then he took a jar of honey from his bee friend Mesi and poured it over the yogurt as well. He mixed everything well and began to sweeten.

What he didn't notice was that the lactic acid bacteria in the yogurt were very happy to get the vitamins and sugar from the berries and honey. They started multiplying quickly and became so big that Pärtel could see them. He was startled when he saw little white balls moving around in his yogurt. He thought they were some bad guys who wanted to eat his yogurt. He took a spoon and started picking them out.

However, the lactic acid bacteria did not want to harm Pärtel. Instead, they were very friendly and curious. They wanted to know who the big red-hatted creature was that was eating them. They started talking to Pärtel and told him that they are lactic acid bacteria and that they help make yogurt. They said that they were very grateful that Pärtel gave them such good food and that they wanted to be his friends.

At first, Pärtel was very surprised that there were creatures living in yogurt who could talk. He didn't believe them and thought they were lying. He asked them how they make yogurt and why they do it. Lactic acid bacteria explained to him that they eat the sugar in the milk and make it sour and thick. They said that they do it because it is their natural way of life and that it is also beneficial for both them and Pärtel. They said that yogurt is very healthy and that it contains many beneficial substances such as calcium, protein, probiotics and vitamins.

Pärtel listened to them and began to understand that they are not his enemies, but rather helpers. He realized that they are very smart and nice. He apologized to them for picking them out and said he didn't know who they were. He said that he was very interested in their lives and that he wanted to interact with them more. He asked them if they wanted to live with him and share his yogurt.

The lactic acid bacteria were very happy that Pärtel accepted them and that he wanted to make friends with them. They said they were willing to live with him and that they promised to make him the best yogurt he had ever tasted. They said that they are very happy that they found such a good friend like Pärtel.

That's how the elf Pärtel and tiny lactic acid bacteria became friends. They lived together in Pärtel's house and shared everything they had. They talked a lot with each other and learned new things from each other. They were very happy and satisfied. And Pärtel yogurt was really the best yogurt anyone had ever tried.

As Christmas approached, the lactic acid bacteria decided to help Pärtel and the other elves make and distribute presents. They used their skills and abilities to make milk and other foods tasty and healthy. They made various yogurts, cheeses, butter and other dairy products, which they decorated with berries, honey and nuts. They packed them in beautiful boxes and wrote wishes and words of thanks. They gave them to Pärtel, who took them to children who had been good and good. The children were very happy when they received such tasty and useful gifts. They thanked Pärtel and the lactic acid bacteria from the bottom of their hearts.

So Pärtel and the lactic acid bacteria became even better friends and did a lot of good for themselves and others. They lived happily ever after and enjoyed their yogurt every day.
