Sauerkraut salad
You will need:
500 g of sauerkraut made with Nordwise® vegetable starter
1 large or 2 smaller apples
2 carrots
1 dl cranberries
2 tbsp olive oil
1 teaspoon of brown sugar
salt
Preparation tutorial:
Make sauerkraut with Nordwise® vegetable leaven (you can find the recipe here ).
For the salad, grate pre-peeled and cleaned apples and carrots with a coarse grater. In a small bowl, mix olive oil with sugar and salt. If the cabbage is more sour, you can add more sugar if necessary. Mix the sauerkraut, grated apples and carrots and half of the cranberries with the sauce. Garnish the salad with the remaining cranberries.
